Grammy Awards 2014: tutti i vincitori e le esibizioni della serata

Che cosa è successo nell'edizione 2014 dei Grammy Awards, i cosiddetti Oscar della musica? Noi di AllSongs vi avevamo spiegato come vederli dall'Italia, ma per chi non avesse fatto nottata ecco un breve riassunto con l'elenco dei vincitori.

Se l'anno scorso aveva trionfato il rock/folk grazie a band come Mumford & Sons e Black Keys, questo è stato l'anno dei Daft Punk: il duo francese ha vinto due dei quattro premi più importanti (Album of the year e Record of the year). Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo e Thomas Bangalter hanno ritirato i premi con il solito casco che li contraddistingue, in compagnia di tutto il team che ha collaborato a "Random Access Memories" tra cui Pharrell Williams e Nile Rodgers.

Tra le canzoni dell'anno la vincitrice è "Royals" di Lorde (la giovane artista neozelandese si è portata a casa non solo questo premio, ma anche quello di Best pop solo performance), mentre la miglior canzone rock è "Cut Me Some Slack" di Paul McCartney più gli ex-Nirvana Dave Grohl e Krist Novoselic.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis hanno trionfato come Best new artist, Best rap album e Best rap song ("Thrift Shop"), ma soprattutto hanno entusiasmato con la performance di "Same Love", forse la più bella della serata: insieme a loro sul palco c'erano Mary Lambert, Queen Latifah, Madonna e più di 30 coppie che si sono sposate.
