Ivor Novello Awards 2015, Ed Sheeran è Songwriter of the Year

, e i Clean Bandit hanno trionfato alla 60° edizione degli Ivor Novello Awards, tenutisi ieri sera (21 maggio 2015) a Londra e considerati tra i premi musicali più importanti del Regno Unito.

Il grande sconfitto di quest'anno è stato Sam Smith, che non si è portato a casa nessun riconoscimento, ma che può consolarsi con i BRITs e i Grammys vinti nei mesi scorsi.

Grande risultato per i Clean Bandit, che con "Rather Be" si sono portati a casa ben due premi - sconfiggendo proprio il cantante di "Stay With Me" - e per Hozier con "Take Me To Church".

Ed Sheeran è stato incoronato Songwriter of the Year, seguendo le orme di , Calvin Harris e . Infine premi speciali sono andati a Boy George, Black Sabbath, Annie Lennox e Manic Street Preachers.
