Lorde: ecco il nuovo singolo Yellow Flicker Beat da Hunger Games 3

Come promesso qualche giorno fa, è arrivato il contributo di alla colonna sonora del film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" (in italiano "Hunger Games: Il canto della rivolta - Parte 1") dal titolo "Yellow Flicker Beat".

Nella canzone l'artista neozelandese veste i panni di Katniss Everdeen - la protagonista della saga scritta da Suzanne Collins interpretata sul grande schermo da Jennifer Lawrence - e parla di vendetta, intrighi e cattivi presagi, avvisando di stare attenti a tutti i nemici che le si pareranno davanti.

Musicalmente Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor - questo il vero nome di Lorde - mantiene il sound dark ed elegante dell'album di debutto "Pure Heroine", con un testo che si presenta spettrale e minaccioso, ma allo stesso tempo pieno di speranza.

La cantante è stata scelta per curare l'intera soundtrack del nuovo episodio di Hunger Games, diretto da Francis Lawrence. Il film arriverà nei cinema il 21 novembre, mentre la colonna sonora uscirà tre giorni prima.
