Brit Awards 2015, Ed Sheeran e Sam Smith gli artisti con più nomination

 (23 anni) e Sam Smith (22 anni) hanno venduto milioni di dischi nel 2014 e sono in testa alle classifiche di tutto il mondo, quindi non potevano che essere loro i protagonisti dei Brit Awards 2015.

Si tratta di un vero testa a testa: il cantante di "Stay With Me" ha cinque nomination ed è stato l'unico artista a vendere un milione di album nel Regno Unito e negli Stati Uniti con il suo album di debutto "In The Lonely Hour". Amato anche dal pubblico statunitense, Sam Smith è anche nominato per sei Grammy Awards.

Ed Sheeran ha quattro nomination, tra cui miglior album e miglior artista solista, grazie al successo del suo secondo album "X" - a cui ha collaborato anche Pharrell Williams - che in Gran Bretagna sta per superare i 2 milioni di copie vendute.

Il cantautore dai capelli rossi si esibirà questa estate in tre concerti - già sold out - al mitico stadio di Wembley, un risultato che ha fatto inorridire Noel Gallagher, a cui non piace questo genere di pop.

Anche (21 anni) ha quattro nomination per il suo disco d'esordio, "Wanted on Voyage", che ha venduto più di 800.000 copie grazie anche al traino di un singolo forte come "Budapest".

A calcare il palco dei Brit Awards 2015 come performers ci saranno, oltre agli annunciati Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift e Sam Smith, anche George Ezra, Paloma Faith e i Royal Blood.
