Nonostante fosse il favorito, purtroppo il nostro non è riuscito a conquistare la vittoria a X Factor UK.

Nella finale trasmessa il 14 dicembre 2014 il cantante si è classificato al terzo posto dopo aver cantato "Ghost" in duetto con Ella Henderson e "Feelin' Good" di Nina Simone (nota ai più forse nella versione realizzata da Michael Bublè).
