Michael Jackson: nel 2015 uscirà il video di Thriller in 3D!

Uno dei più famosi video musicali di tutti i tempi sta per tornare a nuova vita: sono passati più di 30 anni - era il novembre 1983 - dal debutto ufficiale di "Thriller" di Michael Jackson e tra qualche mese potremo vederlo anche in versione 3D!

Dopo una lunga disputa legale John Landis, che all'epoca diresse la versione originale, ha avuto il via libera per girare un reboot in 3D della hit, che dovrebbe vedere la luce nel 2015.

Tornerà in una versione molto lucida e tridimensionale, che sarà molto eccitante sul grande schermo.

Il regista, che nel 1991 realizzò anche il videoclip di "Black or White", fu chiamato dalla popstar dopo aver visto "Un lupo mannaro americano a Londra": Michael si innamorò del film e decise di replicare l'ambientazione horror per la sua canzone.

Il video di "Thriller", che nella versione integrale dura quasi 14 minuti, è considerato uno dei più influenti nella storia della cultura pop, non solo per gli effetti speciali e la coreografia, ma anche perché fu il primo ad avere una trama: una vera rivoluzione!

A fine 2009, sei mesi dopo la morte di Jackson, "Thriller" è stato inserito nella National Film Registry della Biblioteca del Congresso Americano, che sceglie i film "culturalmente, storicamente o esteticamente significativi": è stato il primo video musicale a ricevere un tale onore.
