Adele, Hello: il primo singolo dal nuovo album 25 (VIDEO)

Sono passati quattro lunghi anni senza considerare "Skyfall", ma probabilmente ne è valsa la pena: ha finalmente svelato - poco prima della mezzanotte di giovedì 22 ottobre - il primo singolo dal suo nuovo album "25".  

I fan della cantante inglese hanno atteso a lungo per ascoltare "Hello" - questo il titolo del brano firmato anche da Greg Kurstin - e non sono rimasti delusi, merito di un testo pieno di sofferenza e di un video musicale intenso e drammatico.

Ma qual è il significato di "Hello"? Un indizio ci arriva dalla lettera che Adele ha postato su Twitter due giorni fa, in cui spiega da dove ha preso l'ispirazione per l'intero album, scritto quando aveva 25 anni. Ossia il passaggio all'età adulta - ora ha 27 anni ed è diventata mamma di Angelo - e la consapevolezza di essere diventata una star mondiale con "21".

Il testo parla effettivamente di un amore passato: la cantante cerca di scusarsi per tutto quello che ha fatto. Ma a chi si riferisce? All'ex fidanzato Alex Sturrock? Al suo attuale boyfriend Simon Konecki? O magari a se stessa, alla vecchia versione di Adele?

Al momento propenderei per l'ultima opzione. Magari qualche delucidazione in più arriverà ascoltando le altre canzoni: bisogna aspettare un mesetto, l'uscita dell'album è prevista per il prossimo 20 novembre.

Il videoclip di "Hello" vede protagonisti Adele e nei panni del suo amante Tristan Wilds  - attore statunitense famoso per i suoi ruoli in due serie tv: come Michael Lee in The Wire e come Dixon Wilson in 90210.

Diretto in un'elegante bianco e nero da Xavier Dolan, è stato girato a Montreal in Canada ed è il primo video musicale realizzato con camere IMAX.
