Taylor Swift: il nuovo album 1989 in uscita il 28 ottobre 2014

Taylor Swift torna in radio il prossimo 29 agosto con il singolo "Shake It Off", che anticipa il nuovo lavoro "1989": il disco, già in pre-order sugli store digitali, è subito salito ai primi posti di iTunes in tutto il mondo, anche in Italia (qui sotto la copertina).

Il titolo dell'album fa riferimento all'età della cantante, che è nata il 13 dicembre 1989 a Reading, in Pennsylvania:

Negli ultimi anni ho imparato una lezione molto importante. Non possiamo controllare quello che la gente dice di noi ma possiamo controllare la nostra reazione. Possiamo lasciare che ci abbatta, ci lasci l'amaro in bocca, addirittura ci renda pazzi, oppure possiamo… shake it off [scrollarcelo di dosso, ndr].

Ma per ascoltare interamente "1989" dovremo aspettare fino al 28 ottobre, giorno di uscita ufficiale dell'album che la cantante ha definito "pop" a tutti gli effetti:

Ci ho messo due anni a scrivere 1989, due anni ti danno il tempo necessario per crescere e cambiare e lasciare che le cose ti ispirino. Ho ascoltato molto pop anni 80, com'erano coraggiose quelle canzoni e quanti pochi limiti si ponevano allora. Da questa prospettiva l'album per me è come una rinascita. È il mio primo ufficiale e documentato album pop. 1989 è l'album più coeso che abbia mai scritto e quello che preferisco in assoluto.

Per il momento l'unico metro di giudizio è "Shake It Off": il brano, numero uno su iTunes in 22 paesi del mondo e Top 10 in Italia, è stato presentato per la prima volta dal vivo due giorni fa agli MTV VMAs 2014, dove hanno trionfato Beyoncé e Miley Cyrus.
